A FANTASTIC Concert

Wow! Queensbridge musicians - we were blown away by your performances at the concert. We've only had a short time to prepare, but all of the groups and soloists were a joy to listen to, and you showed how much progress you are making. Keep it up! Together with Music at Beaumont Lodge

A group of Year 3 students visited Beaumont Lodge residential home today to take part in a music workshop. We have been linked with Beaumont Lodge (near London Fields) through an intergenerational organisation called Together With Music. We enjoyed having the chance to meet some of the residents and to learn some songs with Mary, who also played us some jazz tunes on the clarinet and saxophone. 

The children listened so brilliantly and joined in whole-heartedly with the activities. We had a go at singing, actions and conducting, and we get to visit again next week! We were even given squash and biscuits after all of the music.
