Together with Music at Beaumont Lodge

A group of Year 3 students visited Beaumont Lodge residential home today to take part in a music workshop. We have been linked with Beaumont Lodge (near London Fields) through an intergenerational organisation called Together With Music. We enjoyed having the chance to meet some of the residents and to learn some songs with Mary, who also played us some jazz tunes on the clarinet and saxophone. 

The children listened so brilliantly and joined in whole-heartedly with the activities. We had a go at singing, actions and conducting, and we get to visit again next week! We were even given squash and biscuits after all of the music.
